A JOBS and careers fair is being held on Thursday (February 19) for teenagers in London's East End who have left school without work and are not in training or further education.
It is a chance to get help on where to go next in life by putting them in touch with the people who can get things moving for them.
The fair being staged at Limehouse Youth Centre in Limehouse Causeway, off Commercial Road, from 2 to 4pm, is free for those between 16 and 19 who are unemployed and with little prospects.
It includes IT, hairdressing, childcare, construction, leisure and retail where teenagers can ask how they can get into training, jobs and volunteering in those industries.
Not working or in training can have a big effect on future prospects, Tower Hamlets' Youth & Community Services points out. The fair gives them tips about opportunities to boost their prospects.
