Justin Edinburgh’s team will take on Sammy Moore’s Beach Boys this weekend

Josh Koroma believes Leyton Orient will face one of their toughest games of pre-season on Saturday when they take on Concord Rangers.

The National League South side are managed by former O’s midfielder Sammy Moore and have made a number of impressive signings this summer.

Ex-Orient players Sean Clohessy and Frazer Shaw are signed up for the new term and Aron Pollock is on trial there.

After helping Justin Edinburgh’s team score 15 times in pre-season to date, the teen is expected a difficult encounter at Thames Road.

Koroma: “I will look forward to playing against Aron if he plays and he is a very good player.

“It will be a tough game. Concord will probably be one of our tougher games during this pre-season, but we are looking forward to it.”

Orient played their third friendly of the summer on Tuesday and managed to win 4-0 at East Thurrock United.

Macauley Bonne, David Mooney and Koroma netted before Jobi McAnuff forced the hosts’ Lewis Knight to divert a cross into his own net.

While the results are not important, O’s academy graduate admitted it does obviously help to get the winning feeling back straight away.

He said: “We are just trying to get our fitness up as a team and hopefully we’ll build up to 90 minutes soon and then we’ll find out the starting XI for the season. “Obviously right now everyone is just trying to get fit, but winning makes it that little bit better.”

Boss Edinburgh admitted Moore’s Concord will provide Orient with a really good test on Saturday.

He also reiterated his stance on the players he has let leave Brisbane Road in recent times, adding: “I want people to prove me wrong.

“Like I said at the back end of last season, it is only one person’s opinion. It doesn’t make me right and them wrong and I want them to go on and have careers.

“Saturday will, again, be a similar challenge to East Thurrock. Concord are a team with a new manager and a lot of new players, so it will be another good test.”
