KIDS have been learning some useful circus tricks including trying to balance on a 'high wire'-even if it was just a foot or two above the grass.
They were having a jolly time at Jolly's Green in Poplar, in London's East End, when the Town Hall staged a fun day as part of its summer holiday 'youth inclusion' programme at Tower Hamlets.
Youngsters aged eight to 13 enjoyed games and team challenges, learning circus skills and having art workshops as well as getting to grips with repairing bicycle punctures.
There was also plenty of information for them including safe travel on London buses and tips on healthy eating.
There are plenty more summer activities in a brochure people can pick this up at Tower Hamlets public libraries and Idea stores or click here and her it online.
