Actor Kiefer Sutherland has been spotted in Shoreditch filming for the new series of 24.

Photos of him with an upturned taxi in Cobb Street, near Liverpool Street station, emerged on social media.

While fans have to wait until May to find out just what he’s up to in the capital, pictures suggest it will contain explosions and stunts, the likes of which helped make the show hugely successful since its launch in 2001.

The ‘Live Another Day’ episodes, which will form a 12-part series, were announced by producers to see the show’s hero on the run in London - suggesting he will be filming in the capital for some time yet.
