THE entertainment licence of East London's famous Troxy which first opened as a cinema in 1933 showing Fay Wray in King Kong is being reviewed by the local authority after complaints about noise.

Families living near the listed Art Deco entertainment venue in Stepney's Commercial Road have lodged a dossier of complaints with Tower Hamlets council about anti-social behaviour and access their to properties being blocked "by inconsiderate parking."

They have handed the dossier in at the Town Hall to be considered by the Licensing sub-committee on December 17.
