Budding film-makers took to the red carpet last week for the premiere of three short films they produced.
More than 150 people turned out to see the young filmmakers’ creations at a glitzy event at the Genesis Cinema in Stepney Green.
Pupils from Langdon Park School showed off their films, which included works inspired by the story of Clara Grant, founder of the Fern Street Settlement charity in Bow.
The school’s leader of creative arts Joanne Bird said the event, held last Tuesday, was “another fine example of how the arts contribute so positively to the lives of young people”.
The event was hosted by housing association Poplar HARCA.
