LEASEHOLDERS have won a recognition deal with their social landlords in London’s East End for the first time.
They have signed “a landmark deal” with East End Homes after months of talks.
It means regular meetings with the landlords and ‘problem clinics’ to avoid disputes having to go to tribunals.
The deal covers households on Millwall’s Island Gardens and West Ferry estates, Glamis and St George’s estates in Shadwell and Holland Estate in Spitalfields.
