A new chief executive was appointed at the Lesbian Gay Christian Movement’s annual conference in east London to help expand its campaign of global equality.
Tracey Byrne was introduced to delegates at their AGM at Bethnal Green’s Oxford House community centre at the weekend.
The organsation’s chairman, Mike Egan, said: “Tracey will expand our work to make homophobia, transphobia and biphobia across the world a thing of the past.”
Tracy, who has long experience working in the charity sector, spoke at the May 10 conference of her “deep commitment to inclusion and equality”. She takes up her post on June 2.
