Brisbane Road outfit go to Brunton Park to take on side that have yet to lose in the division this season

Andy Hessenthaler believes Leyton Orient are definitely capable of getting more reward on the road at Carlisle United.

The O’s will make the long trip to Brunton Park by train, for another lengthy away match in League Two.

They won 2-1 at Morecambe last weekend to continue their fine results on the road after beating Grimsby Town by the same scoreline and drawing 1-1 at Cheltenham Town.

Keith Curle’s Cumbrians are the only team in the league to remain unbeaten, but they have drawn four of their opening six matches.

Hessenthaler said: “Another tough, long journey on the train with the boys. I think the train is the best way to go.

“It cuts out the traffic and you get up there a lot quicker. We had a nice pleasant trip to Morecambe last Friday and it will be a nice one at Carlisle.

“It is another tough place to go to try and get a result, but we are more than capable of doing it.”

Orient will be hoping to build on their impressive showing at Globe Arena when they were good at both ends of the pitch.

Hessenthaler felt the presence of Paul McCallum made a big difference when O’s were defending set plays.

He added: “Morecambe’s goalkeeper Barry Roche has done great for them and I was pleased a couple of the set plays nearly came off.

“The boys are listening, they are organising each other and I thought in both boxes we were excellent.

“We defended well from set plays and we’ve been talking about that over the last few weeks and it has to carry on.

“Paul makes a difference in our own box because of his height and he was good on Saturday.

“We could have had more goals at Morecambe, but we got the two and we’ve won the game.”
