Leyton Orient manager Justin Edinburgh feels they deserved to get something from their 1-0 defeat to Dover Athletic.
The O’s six game unbeaten run came to an end thanks to a wonder strike from Mitch Pinnock at the Crabble Athletic Ground.
Edinburgh revealed he had limited options through illness but put the defeat down to a lack of concentration.
“Yeah, I’ve got to say I am, I certainly thought we did enough to get ourselves something from the game,” the 48-year-old boss said.
“Again we’ve allowed ourselves to switch off in an important situation and we’re punished yet again.”

“It’s been a bit of disrupted week for most teams, not in terms of our training structure, but we’ve had some illnesses throughout the week, Brophy was ill, Dan Happe went down yesterday morning (Friday) with food poisoning so we shuffled the back four.

“Sam Ling come in and done ever so well but I think obviously not having so much game time as we would have liked to have give him, he got cramp, and that’s when we had to shuffle the pack.
“It maybe unbalanced us a little.”
The former Northampton Town boss also revealed it’s the mindset that let them down in the match but he had plenty of praise for midfielders Ebou Adams and Craig Clay.
“It’s just the mindset, we’ve got to have a greater desire to make sure that we don’t concede goals because there was a lot of positives performances, I thought Craig Clay and Ebou Adams were quite outstanding, they bossed the midfield from start to finish and people like that don’t deserve to be on the losing side.”
Edinburgh also believes it was a tough surface to play on and it would be harsh of him to criticise Macauley Bonne for missing a golden opportunity towards the end of the first half.
“I think it was a difficult surface, we’ve looked at the chances he’s had and the ball has shot up when he’s gone to strike the ball.
“On another day on a different playing surface I definitely felt he would be hitting the target.
“I can’t be too critical with him because he’s a young boy who is doing ever so well with us and he will continue to improve and dispatch chances like that as we go along.”
