33-year-old takes over from Italian Rob Gagliardi

Leyton Orient have announced former Fulham employee Martin Brennan as their new goalkeeping coach, replacing head of recruitment Rob Gagliardi in the role.

Brennan takes over on July 1 from the Italian, who combined his coaching duties with his recruitment role after Lee Harrison left the club by mutual consent in March.

The 33-year-old started his youth career with the O’s and has penned a one-year deal to return to the club as part of their coaching staff.

“I am very excited to be back at the club for a third time and to get started. I was here from the ages of 9 to 13 and then I came back to coach when the Academy was the Centre of Excellence,” he told the club’s website.

“It is always as club that I have looked out for result wise as well as living in the area and it is a Club my dad took me to as a kid as well so I have always had a soft spot for the club.”
