League Two club release statement confirmed all employees have received their wages for April after a slight delay
Leyton Orient have released a statement confirming all salaries have been paid in full and that there is no outstanding debt to HM Revenue & Customs.
The O’s players and full-time staff were expecting to receive their wages yesterday, but as of 9am on Friday hadn’t been paid.
However, a couple of hours later all of the full-time staff began to be paid and some of the players did too.
It later emerged that some of the players hadn’t received all of their wages for April, but that has now been sorted.
A statement released this afternoon, read: “In response to recent press releases, the club confirms that today there isn’t any outstanding debt to Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC) and all salaries have been paid in full.”
It is not known, however, whether the players have received bonuses (e.g appearances and goal-rated payments) that they are due for April.
