Find out what Charlie Grainger, Sammy Moore, Michael Clark, Freddy Moncur, Victor Adeboyejo and Sam Roach have got up to over the past week

It has been a bad week for Leyton Orient goalkeeper Charlie Grainger on loan at National League South outfit Hampton & Richmond Borough.

The 20-year-old kept a clean sheet on his Beavers debut on November 26, but tasted back-to-back defeats over the past few days.

Last weekend Grainger lined up against Concord Rangers, yet couldn’t prevent Hampton from failing to a 2-1 loss in the league.

Orient’s young goalkeeper was looking to help his team bounce back on Tuesday in the FA Trophy.

Grainger and the Beavers made the trip to Royston Town, managed by O’s legend Steve Castle, though again crashed to a defeat.

The away side took the lead and led at half time, but Royston hit back with two goals after the break.

Grainger made a number of saves, though Hampton exited the competition following a 2-1 defeat and the Orient loanee received a red card after the match.

A report on the Beavers website suggested comments made to the referee earned the 21-year-old his marching orders along with team-mate Harold Odametey.

Hampton are without a game this weekend and return to action on Monday when they visit Edgware Town in the Middlesex Senior Cup, although it is unknown if Grainger will be available to play.

Sammy Moore missed out on Dover Athletic’s National League fixture with Dagenham & Redbridge due to injury.

The experienced midfielder could only watch on as the visitors claimed a 2-1 success at the Crabble Athletic Ground.

Moore will hope he can return to fitness and the starting XI on Saturday when they travel to Dartford in the FA Trophy.

After the weekend encounter, Dover take on Herne Bay in the Kent Senior Cup on Tuesday with O’s loanee set to be involved.

Michael Clark couldn’t stop East Thurrock’s 11-match unbeaten run end on Saturday, but helped them bounce back a few days later.

The Rocks visited Wealdstone at the weekend in the National League South and lost 1-0 with Orient’s young defender playing the whole match.

It was a disappointing result for East Thurrock, though they responded with a 6-1 victory in the Essex Senior Cup on Tuesday.

Clark again featured for the full 90 minutes to help Rocks see off local rivals Bowers and reach the quarter-finals of the competition.

East Thurrock are back in cup action this Saturday when Aldershot Town visit in the FA Trophy first round.

Freddy Moncur helped Bishop’s Stortford register back-to-back wins in two different competitions this week.

Orient’s midfielder played his part as his loan club beat Truro City 2-1 on the road in the National League South.

And on Tuesday, Watford visited the ProKit UK Stadium in the Hertfordshire Senior Cup and were handed a thrashing.

Moncur was heavily involved throughout as Stortford claimed a 5-1 success over the Premier League outfit.

But the O’s ace now has to wait until December 17 for his next competitive action with the Hertfordshire club.

Victor Adeboyejo played the whole 90 minutes for Margate, but they lost 2-0 to National League South leaders Maidenhead United last weekend.

Orient’s young forward will get another chance to help the Kent club on Saturday when they host St Albans City.

Sam Roach was back at O’s last weekend and played for the academy instead of representing Cray Wanderers.

It is understood the young goalkeeper’s work experience loan at the Ryman South club is over.
