Find out how Sammy Moore, Michael Clark, Josh Doherty, Freddy Moncur and Sam Roach have been getting on at other clubs over the past week

It has been a busy week for Leyton Orient and members of their squad out on loan have also had various different games to contend with.

Sammy Moore played 85 minutes for Dover Athletic on Saturday in the National League at Chester.

Unfortunately it was a day to forget for the Whites as they lost 5-0, but they did bounce back on Tuesday night.

Sutton United were the visitors to the Crabble Athletic Ground and Dover won 3-1, although Moore wasn’t involved.

The O’s midfielder will hope to play a part this weekend when the Whites visit Gateshead for another league encounter.

Young Orient defender Michael Clark didn’t have a National League South match last Saturday, but was still in action for East Thurrock.

The Rocks made the trip to St Neots Town of the Southern League Premier Division and were beaten 3-2.

Clark featured again, however, and will be aiming to feature in this weekend’s clash at Oxford City.

Josh Doherty played his part for Altrincham as they progressed through to the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The Northern Ireland under-21 international was introduced in the 49th minute against Morpeth Town.

And Doherty helped Altrincham earn a routine 3-0 victory with a solid showing at left-back.

Next up for the former Watford youngster is a trip to Stalybridge Celtic in the National League North on Saturday.

Doherty is available for Altrincham after not being selected for the latest Northern Ireland under-21 squad.

It has been a frustrating period for Freddy Moncur having been forced to kick his heels over the past 10 days.

Orient’s young midfielder scored for Wingate & Finchley in their 2-1 win at home to Kingstonian in the Ryman Premier on September 27.

But the 20-year-old and his current north London club haven’t had a fixture since and everybody at the Harry Abrahams Stadium will be itching for this weekend’s game at home to Needham Market in the Ryman Premier.

Myles Judd and Victor Adeboyejo made their debuts for Hastings United recently, but weren’t involved for the Ryman South club this week.

Judd was with Orient on Saturday at Barnet but not included among the substitutes and Hastings’ FA Cup encounter at Margate was postponed anyway due to a waterlogged pitch.

The clash was finally played on Tuesday night, although neither Judd nor Adeboyejo were selected in the match day squad.

Both will hope to be involved in this weekend’s FA Trophy preliminary round tie at Ramsgate before Hasting face Margate again next Tuesday (October 11) to decide who reaches the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.

It has been a frustrating couple of days for O’s young goalkeeper Sam Roach at Essex Senior League outfit Barkingside.

Side would have hoped to take all three points on Saturday at home to West Essex, but only drew 1-1 with the Orient loanee playing the whole match between the sticks.

Roach was again in goal on Tuesday night at Barking, but Barkingside lost 3-1 at Mayesbrook Park.

The teenager will hope to impress on Saturday when Side visit Waltham Forest before a trip to Theobalds Lane next Wednesday (October 12) to take on FC Romania.
