Struggling Barrow, who have won only two National League games in 2018, visit Brisbane Road this weekend

Leyton Orient assistant Ross Embleton is looking for the squad to deliver another professional display when Barrow visit Brisbane Road in the National League on Saturday.

The struggling Bluebirds make the trip to the capital in poor form and just outside of the relegation zone heading into the business end of the season.

Ady Pennock’s team are level on points with Solihull Moors after only winning two league games in 2018.

Despite their bad run, Embleton has warned the O’s they must not underestimate this weekend’s opponents.

He said: “We are going to be involved in a few big games between now and the end of the season, so we have to approach them with the right mindset.

“I think last Friday at Guiseley (3-1 win) was a prime example of that. We went there, it wasn’t pretty or a game for the purists, but we were professional in the way we applied ourselves.”

Another display of that ilk and Orient could find themselves back in the top half of the league table come 5pm this weekend.

Eastleigh are currently 12th in the standings and two points ahead of O’s, but they host Wrexham on Saturday while lowly Barrow come to Brisbane Road.

Although the latest visitors to E10 are out of form, Orient recently lost to relegation-threatened Torquay United, which provides the perfect warning to Justin Edinburgh’s side ahead of tomorrow.

The previous clash in Cumbria ended 2-2 on October 7, but O’s will aim to grab all three points at Brisbane Road and show more of a clinical touch in front of goal.

Embleton added: “These teams are hanging on for their lives and have everything to fight for, but unfortunately we have to try and put another nail in their coffin.

“We have to have that ruthless outlook on what we are about and what we are trying to achieve between now and the end of the season.”

A win on Saturday would move Orient 12 points clear of the bottom four with five games left, but Barrow won’t roll over without a fight.
