George Sessions provides player ratings following the 1-1 draw at Luton Town
Jay Simpson scored his 11th goal of the season two minutes into the second half at Kenilworth Road to level the scores between Luton Town and Leyton Orient and that’s how it finished.
The O’s had enjoyed lots of possession in the first period and might have gone ahead through John Marquis, but switched off at the back and it allowed Jack Marriott to beat Alex Cisak from close range.
Ian Hendon’s men responded well, though, and after equalising might have gone on to win with Jack Payne and Sammy Moore going close.
Scott Cuthbert had a first half header cleared off the line and Marriott fizzed a great chance wide late on so a 1-1 draw was probably a fair result in the end.
You may also want to watch:
Alex Cisak (7.5) – Composed performance by the Orient number one. He made a smart first half stop, could do nothing about the goal, but made a couple of decent saves after the break.
Sean Clohessy (7.5) – Wonderful delivery to create the equaliser and was a constant threat down the right even if some of his balls failed to find O’s players.

Mathieu Baudry (6.5) – The Frenchman looked nervy at times and wasn’t always at his best, but grew into the match.
Connor Essam (6) – A lapse in concentration cost the young defender and Orient as he switched off and allowed Marriott to get in behind him to score.
Adam Chicksen (7) – Solid if not spectacular from the left-back. He didn’t get forward as much as Clohessy, but did his best to support attacks.
Jack Payne (7.5) – Typically classy display and kept the visitors ticking over nicely in the first period. He had chances to score in either half too, but failed to take them.
Bradley Pritchard (7.5) – All energy from the Zimbabwean, but he did give away the ball carelessly on a few occasions last night. Nevertheless battling display.
Sammy Moore (7) – Former AFC Wimbledon man came close to scoring the winner with a volley from outside the area and went about his business quietly.
John Marquis (6.5) - Millwall loanee should have got his first goal for the club in the first half, but worked so hard and puts great pressure on opposition defence.
Jay Simpson (7.5) – Another game and another goal for Orient’s top goalscorer. He wasn’t involved that much, but earned them another point.
Ollie Palmer (7) – Big forward worked really hard and did ever so well to set up a great chance for Marquis in first period. Won his fair share in the air and did a decent job up top.
Dean Cox, for Palmer 71. (6.5) – The O’s talisman got on the ball immediately and delivered several balls into the box, but couldn’t create winner.
Lloyd James, for Marquis 86.
