Leyton Orient made it back-to-back wins by defeating Grimsby Town 2-1 on Saturday, but for long spells of the game it didn’t look like ending that way.
The Mariners dominated the first half, with the wind in their favour, and created numerous opportunities, they just couldn’t take them.
Andy Hessenthaler’s side held firm and goals from Liam Kelly and Ollie Palmer after the break gave them the points despite Dominic Vose’s late consolation.
Alex Cisak (7) – Australian was in fine form, making several key saves and handling difficult conditions well.
You may also want to watch:
Nicky Hunt (6) – Struggled at times against Ashley Chambers and was close to giving penalty away, but improved as match progressed.
Yvan Erichot (6) – Shaky in the first half and found it tricky against the strong wind, although settled down after the break.
