Becchetti responds to FA charge
Leyton Orient club president Francesco Becchetti has asked for a personal hearing at the Football Association with regards to a recent charge brought against him.
The Italian was charged with misconduct after an incident with assistant manager Andy Hessenthaler following their 3-2 win over Portsmouth on Boxing Day.
He had until 6pm on Monday January 4 to respond to the charge and the League Two club have released the following statement.
“In response to the misconduct charge brought by the Football Association, we can confirm that Mr Becchetti, Leyton Orient’s President, has admitted improper conduct, but strongly denies violent conduct.
