Leyton Orient have released a statement responding to media reports regarding former Italy international defender Andrea Dossena.
The 33-year-old, who played 88 minutes during the 3-3 League One draw with Gillingham on Monday, was reportedly arrested and bailed yesterday (Tuesday) after an incident in Harrods.
An Orient statement read: “The club are aware of the incident reported earlier today involving Andrea Dossena.
“However, the club is not in a position to make any further comment on the matter whilst it is being dealt with by the authorities.”
