Errol McKellar is planning to put on another charity game in aid of Prostate Cancer UK at Brisbane Road this May.

The Leyton Orient youth-team coach has been at the club for several years, but is also renowned for his work to help raise the awareness of Prostate Cancer.

Back in the summer of 2015, on May 31, a crowd of 2,900 turned up at Brisbane Road to watch an O’s legends team, managed by Martin Ling, take on Harry Redknapp and Russell Brand’s Men United side featuring celebrities and former sportsmen.

The match helped raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK and another charity game will take place on Sunday May 27.

Funds from this clash will be going to Prostate Cancer UK, the Errol McKellar Foundation and East Hertfordshire Mind Network – a charity close to the heart of Orient’s director of football Ling.

The game will kick-off at 3pm and tickets cost £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for 3-16 year-olds.

O’s legend Dean Cox, who made 275 appearances for the club during a six-year stay at Brisbane Road, has already confirmed he will be playing in the match.

Cox said: “So delighted to say I will be playing in Errol McKellar’s charity game which is back at Leyton Orient in aid of Prostate Cancer UK and East Herts Mind Network. A great cause and I’m really happy to be a part of it.”

The likes of Trevor Sinclair, Luther Blissett, Ralph Little and Tamer Hassan featured in the previous match three years ago and more high profile names in the world of sport, music and acting will take part this time around.

Orient legends John Mackie and Peter Kitchen were among many to represent the O’s team previously and many more London stars will turn out for Ling in May.
