Find out how Sammy Moore, Josh Doherty, Michael Clark, Myles Judd, Victor Adeboyejo and Sam Roach have been getting on at other non-league clubs recently

Leyton Orient had Harry Cornick and Jay Simpson in the centre of midfield on Tuesday night, but elsewhere another player capable of playing in that position was amongst the goals.

Freddy Moncur continues to make a positive impact at Wingate & Finchley in the Ryman Premier.

The 20-year-old played the whole match last weekend as they drew 1-1 with Lowestoft Town.

Moncur had a bigger role to play on Tuesday, however, as he scored from 20-yards to level the score against Kingstonian in the first half.

Wingate went on to win the game 2-1 but the young O’s midfielder will have to wait until October 8 until he features again for the north Londoners.

Sammy Moore played his part as Dover Athletic defeated Lincoln City 2-0 in the National League.

Moore swung in a corner kick after four minutes which was headed home by Jamie Grimes and the Whites never looked back.

Next up for the ex-AFC Wimbledon ace is a trip to Chester City this weekend before a home encounter with Sutton United on Tuesday.

Josh Doherty played for Altrincham on Saturday, but was unable to prevent them losing 1-0 to Boston United in the National League North.

The Northern Ireland under-21 international will take on Morpeth Town this weekend in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup.

Michael Clark was unfortunate to give a penalty away as East Thurrock drew 2-2 with Bishop’s Stortford in the National League South.

Orient’s young defender was adjudged to have handled the ball and the visitors converted the spot-kick to go 2-1 up.

But the Rocks responded to earn a point and are set to play St Neots Town on Saturday in a friendly.

Myles Judd and Victor Adeboyejo made their debuts for Hasting United of the Ryman South this week.

Right-back Judd played the whole match on Saturday against Dorking Wanderers and Adeboyejo was introduced after 70 minutes.

But the pair couldn’t prevent United suffering a 2-1 defeat and they were beaten again on Tuesday.

Judd started their league match at Greenwich Borough, who are managed by Gary Alexander, and there was a real Orient feel to the fixture.

Alexander started alongside Bradley Pritchard for the hosts and Charlie MacDonald was introduced off the bench too.

Boro eventually edged out United in a five-goal thriller with Adeboyejo playing the final six minutes.

Next up for the young Orient duo is an FA Cup clash at Margate before a league encounter with Molesey at home on Tuesday.

O’s goalkeeper Sam Roach couldn’t prevent Barkingside losing 2-1 to Essex Senior League rivals in the FA Vase on Saturday.

He will hope to help put that right this weekend when they host West Essex before visiting Barking on Tuesday.
