Only after talks between club staff and Bishops Printers and Alchemy Creations was an agreement reached to print a 16-page programme.

Leyton Orient’s programme for their League Two home match with Grimsby Town tomorrow will only include 16 pages because it is understood there are monies outstanding to Bishops Printers and Alchemy Creations.

It is believed the Brisbane Road club owe the aforementioned companies money and initially the O’s were facing the prospect of not printing a programme for Saturday’s game.

If that had been the case, Orient would have broken Football Association rules and faced sanctions from the Football League as well, which may have resulted in the club receiving fines.

Only after talks between O’s staff and Bishops Printers and Alchemy Creations was an agreement reached to print a 16-page programme.

Leyton Orient Fans’ Trust revealed on Wednesday that O’s were understood to have a “significant level of unpaid bills to various creditors.”

It now appears Bishops Printers and Alchemy Creations are among the creditors owed money by Leyton Orient. The club have been contacted for a comment.

Alchemy Creations posted a statement on Twitter this evening, it read: “We were asked to comment on our position and we did. We are owed money, but have done a deal with the club to produce a limited edition for the next fixture.

“We have worked with Orient and Leyton Orient Community Sports Programme (LOCSP) for several years and have good friends within the club and will continue to help and support wherever we can.

“We consider ourselves Orient fans and hope the issues at the club are resolved as soon as possible so the staff and fans can once again enjoy the success they richly deserve.”
