Find out what Sammy Moore, Michael Clark, Freddy Moncur and Sam Roach have got up to over the past week

Sammy Moore may be forced to watch from the sidelines this weekend when Dover Athletic visit Cambridge United in the first round of the FA Cup.

Leyton Orient’s midfielder is currently on loan at the National League outfit and featured during their 4-1 loss to Tranmere Rovers last Saturday.

Moore played the full 90 minutes at the Crabble Athletic Ground, but it was a frustrating afternoon.

The 29-year-old might not need his boots tomorrow (Saturday) with Dover facing League Two side the U’s.

In the previous round at Burgess Hill Town, Moore wasn’t given permission by O’s to play in the FA Cup.

Therefore it might be a case of the ex-AFC Wimbledon man sitting in the stands while his current team-mates try to cause a shock.

Orient’s young centre back played again for East Thurrock in the National League South and they extended their unbeaten run.

The Rocks drew 1-1 at Poole Town, their fifth match without defeat, although needed a late equaliser to take a point.

Clark played 63 minutes before being replaced, but was able to see his team-mates claim another draw.

The O’s defender will be involved again this weekend with Maidenhead United visiting Rookery Hill.

With Orient not in action until Sunday at Sheffield United, fans could go down to East Thurrock on Saturday to see Clark in action.

After the weekend encounter, the youngster and Rocks hosts Hornchurch in the third round of the Essex Senior Cup on Tuesday (November 8).

Freddy Moncur departed Brisbane Road last Friday to join Bishop’s Stortford of the National League South.

The 20-year-old made his debut the following day at Eastbourne Borough, but was unable to prevent his side losing 1-0.

Moncur would have hoped to get another chance to impress on Tuesday when Colney Heath visited Stortford in the Hertfordshire Senior Cup.

But the clash was abandoned after nine minutes due to a fire at the foot of the floodlight pylon.

O’s talented young midfielder is set to feature in tomorrow’s important home clash with Weston-super-Mare.

Stortford will then replay their abandoned cup clash with Colney Heath this Tuesday (November 8) at the ProKit UK Stadium.

Soham Town Rangers were again without Victor Adeboyejo on Saturday because he was on the bench for O’s home clash with Crewe Alexandra.

The 18-year-old was an unused substitute, although will hope to get a chance this weekend if Orient’s injury problems continue.

Sam Roach couldn’t play for Essex Senior League outfit Barkingside this week because he represented the east Londoners in the first round of the FA Youth Cup.

Side faced Takeley on Tuesday night and drew 2-2 without the young O’s goalkeeper because he was preparing for a clash with Southend United.

Roach played the full 90 minutes at Roots Hall on Wednesday as the academy triumphed 6-0 to reach the next round.

The young goalkeeper should be back with Barkingside on Saturday when they entertain Hullbridge Sports.

And Roach should also feature on Monday (November 7) when Stansted visit Cricklefield Stadium having impressed for Gursel Gulfer’s team this season.
