Right-back arrives at O’s on two-year deal from National League rivals Cards
Leyton Orient have signed right-back Jake Caprice on a two-year deal, with the 24-year-old becoming the National League club’s fourth signing of the summer.
Caprice arrives on a free transfer from Woking, where he has spent the past two seasons and made over 80 appearances for the Cards in the National League.
A product of the Crystal Palace academy, Caprice made no appearances for the Eagles before moving on to Blackpool in 2012, where he also failed to play for the first team.
However, the attacking full-back was sent on loan to Dagenham & Redbridge, where he made his professional debut, St Mirren and Tamworth, before leaving the Tangerines permanently in 2014.
From there, Caprice spent one season in the National League with Lincoln City before again moving on, this time to Woking, who he left when his contract expired earlier this summer.
Caprice is set to compete with teenager Myles Judd for the right-back berth and is O’s fourth summer signing after the additions of David Mooney, Joe Widdowson and Charlie Lee.
