The pair will continue their comebacks by featuring in a behind closed doors match with Southend United today
Leyton Orient will play a behind closed doors friendly with Southend United later today and new signing Dale Gorman will get more minutes to build up his fitness.
The midfielder is yet to make his debut for the O’s after suffering a fractured ankle in April at Stevenage.
After playing in another friendly fixture earlier this month, Gorman will aim to step up his comeback this afternoon alongside Matt Harrold, who hasn’t played for Orient since the end of March when he suffered a serious hamstring problem.
Head coach Justin Edinburgh said: “If Josh (Koroma) had missed out on Saturday at home to Boreham Wood, Matt would have been on the bench.
“Matt and Dale are both available now. We have another game on Tuesday for them and all being well they will be ready to go after that.”
Edinburgh will also give minutes to some other members of his squad who are lacking match fitness.
One of Sam Sargeant or Charlie Grainger will start in goal – most likely the former – and Sam Ling, Alex Lawless and James Alabi may get a run-out.
The O’s could also include some fringe members of the first-team like Shadrach Ogie, Ruel Sotiriou and Charles Clayden.
“It is a behind closed doors friendly with Southend United, so it will be a good test,” Edinburgh said.
“Some of the boys who have not had enough minutes so far will get minutes, so it is a good time to have it.”
