Long trip for O’s this weekend, although it will be worth it if they achieve another victory in League Two
Andy Hessenthaler has told his Leyton Orient team to expect a stern test at Grimsby Town, but to get a result.
The 51-year-old, who celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, is looking for the O’s to make it back-to-back wins at Blundell Park.
Gavin Massey’s brace and a header from Dean Cox gave the east Londoners all three points on Tuesday night at home to Stevenage.
Now they’ll make the trip to Lincolnshire hoping to put together a strong run of form in League Two.

“Grimsby’s a tough place to go, they’ve just got promoted and I’ve played there myself and been there,” said Hessenthaler.
“It’s a tight ground, a nice pitch and there will be a good atmosphere. It is a long journey so we’ve got to make sure we go up there and get a result.”

The former Gillingham manager admits he got the reaction he wanted from his players on Tuesday.
After losing 1-0 to Newport County last weekend, O’s had to bounce back when they hosted Boro.
Fortunately they did and it has them on four points from their opening three league games of the season.
Hessenthaler: “I 100 per cent got the reaction I wanted and you always say can you bounce back and we did.
“It was a slow start but we grew into it and I was delighted with the boys and the attitude they showed. We put ourselves under a bit of pressure at the weekend and we dealt with it.”
A slight concern from Tuesday night was a shin injury to Nigel Atangana, which forced the midfielder off in the 51st minute.
Speaking after the Stevenage match, Hessenthaler expected the Frenchmen to be unavailable for the Grimsby fixture.
He said: “I hope he is not out for too long, the thing is, it is an impact injury, there is no twist so it is going to be badly bruised and swollen.
“Saturday will come too quick for him but I’d like to think he will not be out for too long if he does miss the game at the weekend.”
