A young family who stumbled across a gold charm in the street are desperately trying to find its owner – and they are appealing to our readers for help.
Former journalist and mum-of-two Emma Miller was with her television producer husband Tim, 43, when the pair spotted the St Christopher pendant lying on the pavement.
“It’s quite small, definitely gold, and it’s a pendant that has obviously come off a chain,” Emma, 43, said. “It’s pretty. There’s a date and initials engraved on the back and I’m sure it has sentimental value to whoever’s lost it.”
The couple found the charm on February 12 near their home in Barnes Street, Limehouse, and later showed it to their children, Grace, 10, and seven-year-old Frank.
Emma says the youngsters are excited about the mystery and the adventure of trying to track down the owner. But she plans to hand the pendant over to Tower Hamlets Police if her appeal in this newspaper doesn’t work.
