A POLICE officer at Limehouse station appeared in court this week accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.
PC Robert Nicholson, 27, who is based at the station in West India Dock Road, is accused of driving the girl into the woods in Epping Forest, Essex and sexually assaulting her on December 16 last year.
He appeared on Wednesday at City of Westminster Magistrates Court where he denied sexual assault by digital penetration.
The officer allegedly took the girl's mobile phone number whilst working as a jailer in Bethnal Green Police Station on October 6 last year.

He was granted bail and a committal hearing will take place on June 23.
