Jamaican forward expected to complete transfer to League Two side Barnet

Kevin Lisbie looks set to join Scott Cuthbert in departing Leyton Orient after it was reported the Jamaican is close to joining their League Two rivals Barnet.
The Times Series understand the 36-year-old has held talks with Bees manager Martin Allen about joining the recently promoted Conference champions, but the move is yet to be completed.

Lisbie was one of 12 players told their contracts wouldn’t be renewed earlier this month and Cuthbert has already arranged his next move.
The Scottish defender has agreed to join Luton Town and his former O’s team mate could also exit Brisbane Road too.

After signing for Orient from Ipswich in the summer of 2011, Lisbie established himself as a firm favourite amongst the fans under previous boss Russell Slade.
He struggled with injuries this season, however, and the number of new managers also restricted his playing time.

In the end he only made 8 appearances for O’s during the 2014/15 campaign – scoring just twice in victories at Oldham Athletic and Yeovil Town.
Lisbie was loaned to League Two Stevenage in March but endured more fitness problems and only made three starts before returning to Brisbane Road in April.
It now seems his time with the E10 club is close to officially coming to an end and he will become the second player to exit the club after they suffered relegation from League One last season.
He scored 46 goals in 111 league appearances for the O’s and supporters will get one final chance to see the Jamaican in action this weekend when he takes part in Errol McKellar’s special charity match for Prostate Cancer.
