A listening bus for deaf children will make a stop in London s East End next Wednesday. It is said to be the UK s only touring information centre for deaf children and deaf young people.

A 'listening' bus for deaf children will make a stop in London's East End next Wednesday.

It is said to be the UK's only touring information centre for deaf children and deaf young people.

The National Deaf Children's Society's Listening Bus will stop at Support

for Learning Service, Harford Street, in Stepney from 10am to 3pm.

Visitors can try out the latest technology to aid communication and awareness of important sounds within the home including vibrating alarm clocks, flashing doorbells and video and text phones. Staff will offer demonstrations and answer questions on all aspects of deafness from children, parents and teachers.
