Little monsters entered the spirit of Hallowe’en with ghoulish costumes at a family fun day yesterday (Wednesday, October 31).
A dramatic ghost ship landing was the highlight of a spooky evening event at King Edward Park in Shadwell, which also boasted a pirate school, a bouncy castle, and scary face painting.
The event was organised by Tower Hamlets Council, and a simlilar Halloween bash took place at Stepney Green Park, in Stepney Way.
Visitors there enjoyed a monsters’ ball with DJ Frank Enstein and an “unlucky dip”.
Cllr Rania Khan, cabinet member for culture, said the borough was “transformed into a ghoulish haven for Hallowe’en”.
