Trains have been delayed and cancelled from Fenchurch Street and Liverpool Street this morning.
Commuters across East London this morning faced a travel nightmare as problems at Fenchurch Street and Liverpool Street meant trains were cancelled and delayed at short notice.
Train provider C2C Tweeted this morning and said: “Due to a fault with the signalling system at London Fenchurch Street: Train services running to and from this station may be cancelled, delayed or revised.”
Great Anglia trains also Tweeted to inform commuters that following over-running engineering works between Hackney Downs and Liverpool Street some lines were closed for over an hour, before reopening again.
The company said that services running to and from these stations may still be cancelled, delayed or revised.
However some commuters were given the good news that the planned strike on the Jubilee line was suspended.
Disruption at both stations was expected until at least 10am.
