Liverpool Street station was evacuated at 9.15am following a fire alert in the overground station.
The overground was closed for 15 minutes as well as the underground station leaving commuters unable to get on the station’s Central, Circle, Hammersmith and City and Metropolitan lines.
The station reopened at 9.30am.
