HEALTH secretary Andy Burnham dropped into the East End this morning to show his support for Bethnal Green and Bow MP candidate Rushanara Ali.
He was given a tour around St Stephens Health Centre in William Place in Bow and chatted to GPs and staff about NHS services in Tower Hamlets.
He told staff that that health services in the borough had improved but patients would be seeing a range of changes over the next decade.
He said: "We have seen the health service come a long way in this area and it has improved. We have taken it from a poor rating to a good.
"But I think we can make it better.
