Election 2010: Bethnal Green and Bow MP candidates given a grilling tonight

MP CANDIDATES will be put on the spot tonight as they are given a grilling by London Citizens.
The charity's east London branch TELCO - The East London Communities Organisation - will be questioning the candidates who are hoping to win the Bethnal Green and Bow seat in the General Election.
The audience at St Paul's Church in The Highway in Shadwell will be calling for all the MP hopefuls to give their backing to London Citizens' CitySafe scheme.
And young people will be sharing their views on how to prevent violence on the streets of the borough.

Those contesting the Bethnal Green and Bow seat are Labour's Rushanara Ali, Conservative Zakir Khan, Respect's Abjol Miah, Lib Dem's Ajmal Masroor, Green's Farid Bakht and Independents Hasib Hikmat and Ahmed Malik.
The meeting will kick-off at 6.30pm.
