TWO of Labour's big guns headed to the East End today to support their party's MP candidates.
Former Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott was due at Chrisp Street Market to talk to lunchtime shoppers and do battle on behalf of Jim Fitzpatrick.
The Farming Minister is contesting Poplar and Limehouse for Labour after 13 years as MP for Poplar and Canning Town.
And the Communities and Local Government minister John Denham is also out on the stump today, campaigning alongside Labour parliamentary hopeful, Rushanara Ali who is fighting for the seat in Bethnal Green and Bow.
