MP HOPEFUL Tim Archer is launching his election campaign today as a shadow minister drops into the East End.
The candidate for Poplar and Limehouse will kick-off his campaign in Chrisp Street Market with just over three weeks to go until voters make their decision on May 6.
And he will be joined by Shadow Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change Greg Clarke.
Cllr Archer will also be hoping to hold onto his seat as councillor of Blackwall and Cubitt Town in the Local Election.
But in the General Election, he will be fighting against Labour's Jim Fitzpatrick, Respect's George Galloway, Green's Chris Smith, Liberal Democrat's Jonathan Fryer, Independent Jim Thornton and English Democrat Andrew Osborne.
