MEMBERS of the Labour party are going to the polls to choose their candidate to contest the 2012 London mayoral election.
Their choice is between Mile End resident and former Bethnal Green and Bow MP Oona King and ex London mayor Ken Livingstone.
Ballot papers are going out to members and the result will be announced on September 24. The election for London’s mayor takes place just months before the city hosts the Olympic and Paralympic games.
