Local Election 2010: Mile End East candidates to be given a grilling

MILE END residents will be giving local election candidates a grilling at a hustings next week.
Mile End Residents Association and Bede Residents Association have invited Tower Hamlets council candidiates standing for Mile End East to answer questions from an audience.
The debate at the East London Tabernacle Baptist Church in Burdett Road on Tuesday night will give one candidate from each party the chance to speak for three minutes.
And the eight remaining candidates will also be able to present themselves in a one-minute slot each, halfway through the meeting.

The Tories, Labour, Lib Dems and Respect have each put forward three candidates.
The event will kick-off at 6.45pm.
