A six figure sponsorship deal for the London Air Ambulance has been announced.
Transport operator FirstGroup has agreed to provide £100,000 for the air ambulance, which is based at the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, over the next four years.
FirstGroup’s marketing manager Avril Gill said: “London’s Air Ambulance saves lives. Therefore the decision to apportion some of our charitable spend to it was an easy one.
“We are delighted to provide funding that will directly support the incredible work that the team carries out on a daily basis.”
The air ambulance has been appealing for sponsors after a previous deal with Virgin came to an end recently.
