THE DANES are riding into the City of London to teach kids cycling games.
A children's 'bike fun' workshop is being set up on Saturday by the Danish Embassy at Smithfield Market as part of Bike Week.
The embassy has hired four Danish instructors to teach youngsters about cycling practices in Denmark, although they're being careful not to include riding on the other side of the road!
The whole area around Smithfield Market is being closed to traffic and dedicated to activities such as a 'folding bike' race and a 'fixed longest skid' competition.
Youngsters and parents can register for Saturday's workshop at Charterhouse Street, 2pm to 6pm, by phone on 020-7333 0246, or go online here under 'Cycles and Walks' or 'Love Your Street', or on the Face Partnership website, or send an email here to Sophie Clausen.
