Longer trains are being laid on for the thousands of passengers expected on the Fenchurch Street line to watch Monday’s Olympics and Paralympics victory parade through Central London.
All off-peak c2c trains will be twice as long with eight carriages to meet demand, adding 11,000 more seats on 40 services.
Monday’s parade starts at 1.30pm at the Mansion House, a few minutes’ walk from Fenchurch Street, and goes through Ludgate Circus, Fleet Street, The Strand, Trafalgar Square and The Mall to Buckingham Palace.
