All things African were celebrated by the Lord Mayor of London at last night’s Mansion House Africa gala with show-stopping performances by Mighty Zulu Nation.
The gala evening was presented by journalist Natasha Kaplinsky who spent her early years in Kenya. Star guest speaker was veteran broadcaster Martin Bell, one of the distinguished BBC foreign correspondents of the last 40 years, who gave tales from his extraordinary career.
It was part of the Lord Mayor’s Appeal for organisations like RedR, a charity which sends relief workers to help respond to worldwide emergencies including Africa.
