Man, 64, found bleeding in street in life threat’ condition

DETECTIVES are investigating a possible attack on a 64-year-old man in the street in East London during the night. The man was found collapsed and bleeding in Westward Road, Chingford, at 3.30am and taken to hospital—where his condition is said to be life threatening’

DETECTIVES are investigating a mystery attack on a 64-year-old man in the street in East London during the night.

The man was found collapsed and bleeding in Westward Road, Chingford, at 3.30am and taken to hospital—where his condition is said to be life threatening.’

Officers are now examining CCTV footage and have closed off Westward Road and Chingford Mount Road as a scene of crime’ during the investigation.

They are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact Waltham Forest CID on 020-8345 2376, or anonymously Crimestoppers on 0800-555111.
