Man charged after armed police raid DLR

A 19-year-old East London man has been charged with false imprisonment and possession of an offensive weapon after a siege on the DLR. Mohammed Hussain, of Swedenborg Gardens, Shadwell, will face City of Westminster magistrates later today.

A 19-year-old East London man has been charged with false imprisonment and possession of an offensive weapon after a siege on the DLR.

Mohammed Hussain, of Swedenborg Gardens, Shadwell, will face City of Westminster magistrates later today.

The charges are in connection with an incident just after 7am onboard a Docklands Light Railway train between Shadwell and Limehouse stations on Saturday 3 July.
