A man has died after falling from the roof of a JP Morgan building in Canary Wharf this morning.
Police were called to the investment bank in Bank Street at around 8.02am after reports of a man falling from the building and landing on the ninth floor roof.
The man, thought to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene, where the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance attended.
A police spokesman said: “We believe we know the identity of the deceased but await formal identification.”
He said officers from Tower Hamlets are investigating the circumstances.
