Man held by murder trial cops for alleged perverting justice’

A 28-year old man has been arrested in East London on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in an upcoming murder trial. He was arrested at his home in Canning Town this morning (Friday). The case involves the killing of music producer Olu Olagbaju at Shadan’s nightclub at Blackfriars in Central London back in December, 2006. The trial opens at the Old Bailey net month

A 28-YEAR old man has been arrested in East London on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in an upcoming murder trial.

He was arrested by City of London police at his home in Canning Town this morning (Friday).

The case involves the killing of music producer Olu Olagbaju at Shadan’s nightclub at Blackfriars in Central London back in December, 2006. The trial opens at the Old Bailey next month.

Det Chief Ins Jeff Davies said: “Bringing this case to trial has taken the best part of the last two years.”

Six men have been charged with murder and are currently remanded in custody.
