Detectives have arrested a man in east London on suspicion of “encouraging terrorism and dissemination of terrorist publications”.
Officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command arrested the 23-year-old at 6.25am yesterday at his east London address, under the 2006 Terrorism Act, Scotland Yard revealed this-morning.
But police would give no further details of the location where he was arrested.
The man was taken in custody to a police station in south London for questioning, while investigations continue.
