Man in court accused of mum's murder

A MAN accused of killing his mother has appeared in court in East London. Marlon Wesley Mclure, a 46-year-old from Violet Road in Bow, was charged with the murder of 68-year-old Waveney Mclure when he appeared before Thames magistrates this

A MAN accused of killing his mother has appeared in court in East London.

Marlon Wesley Mclure, a 46-year-old from Violet Road in Bow, was charged with the murder of 68-year-old Waveney Mclure when he appeared before Thames magistrates this morning.

Police were called at 3am on April 4 to a flat at Crondall Court in Crondall Street, Hoxton, where a woman was found with head injuries. She died at the scene.

A post mortem at Poplar on April 7 gave cause of death as head injuries. An inquest was opened at Poplar Coroner's court last Wednesday and adjourned.
