A MAN accused of a string of fraud offences using forged euros to obtain change in Sterling has appeared in court.

Leonard Hooper, a 23-year-old from Old Ford in London’s East End, was before Harlow magistrates in Essex yesterday (Thurs) facing six charges of false representation at Stansted Airport in June and two allegations in Chelmsford.

He also faces seven charges in Berkshire after being arrested in Reading.

Hooper is accused of obtaining cash by false representation when buying low-cost items with a forged 50-Euro note and getting the chance in Sterling.
